Some Pictures from the Weekend

We had a great weekend in Lafayette! It started with dinner at Picantes with some great friends: Seth and Bridgett. After eating Seth suggested we go midnight bowling! We went bowling until 5AM! We had a great time! Jenny bowled a 175! After that we went to Mimi and Poppee's house and slept until 9:30AM. Then we went straight to the Castro residence to help them set up for the Dora party! It was a lot of work blowing up a fun jump with a hand pump, we each took turns...my arms are still sore! The rest of the day was celebrating PayPay's birthday! Then around 4:00PM we went to Kaylie's birthday party and had a great time roasting marshmallows and hotdogs! After that we went to Ambrosia's for some homemade chilli! It was so good I cried...tears of joy! We spent the night there...we all camped out in the backyard with sleeping bags! right under the stars! It was so fun...I woke up in the middle of the night laughing.
Then the next day Jenny and I went to Marseilles! We spent the morning and a little of the afternoon with my mom and dad! We had a magnificent feast! My mom and dad working together in the kitchen for 3 hours continuously cooking! The food was delicious...along with our delightful conversations! They also promised to visit us real soon! For desert we had some Meche's Famous Mardi Gras King Cake...cream filled...my sister's boyfriend brought some over for us. Then Jenny and I came home...not before we all had a group hug. Then Jenny and I drove and drove until we stopped in Shreveport at Cracker Barrel for dinner...big mistake!!!! It took 30 minutes to be seated and 60 minutes before our food was brought out! It wasn't that bad though...it was a good break from driving. All and all the trip was a fun one! Check out the pictures below and remember you can click them to enlarge.
