F to the i to the NALLY a Post!

Been busy but not really...in all seriousness I have been working on a major project/invention that has been taking all of my free time. I have decided to take a break from this said project, which I am not at liberty to discuss...as for now it must remain a mystery.

This update is to somewhat describe what's been going on:
First of all I have been very busy with work lately...so has Jenny.
B. Wii have been also busy playing the Wii FIT.

Not to mention we have been watching the olympics...we recorded all of it! We started recording it in HD but had to reduce it to SD for a lack of space on the DVR.
I have been working on the mini bike also! I got it started and the engine running! I had some trouble trying to turn it off...since there is no cut off switch...I had to hold my hand over the air intake! It was pretty funny...so, now I just need to buy a chain for it then it could actually be driven! However, it is pretty ugly currently...so I will do some painting and get a real throttle and a real cut off switch before I drive/ride it. Here is a picture of it's current condition:

Back to what's been going on:
-We started going to a home group with our church. Which Jenny and I both enjoyed. Also, we are getting more involved with our church, Jenny is soon to be working in the nursery and I have started greeting last Sunday.
-Been harvesting jalapenos from our back yard! Along with spearmint, green onions, and soon to be tomatoes!
-Sold our couch on Tuesday of this week!
-Started the journey to making my blog widget free! Using javascript I made those countdowns you see to the right. I will eventually code a new message board that will not have any kind of advertisements or links on it.
-New furniture is being delivered tomorrow between 12:30PM and 3:30PM!
-This weekend marks the first family/friends visit this year!
a. Castros and Mimi and maybe Amy(Gouda) visiting this weekend!
b. My Dad visiting us next week!
And that just about sums it up for now.

Our real new furniture...

Those of you who know Jenny, know that the pixel couch is not really her style...and it wouldn't fly with her taste in decor...in all seriousness I wouldn't have chosen it for a living room myself...definitely for a game room though!
So here is what the new furniture will look like for real:

We got the Sofa, the loveseatish chair, and a stationary chair with the fabric of those throw pillows on the couch. Going to buy a square ottoman after the furniture gets in...and already got a rug. We should be getting the furniture in 2-3 more weeks. Just thought I would set the record straight on the furniture ordeal. Peace out...and will update the blog with pictures when they arrive...of course.

The Wii FIT is GO!

We Finally got the wii FIT! I bought it on Wednesday from someone at my work. We have an intranet classifieds at my work that someone posted a Wii FIT bundle. It was brand new still in the box! The person pre-ordered from two different companies to get one ASAP...and ended up with two...great for me!
I got it for the same cost I would have paid through gamestop.com along with the shipping...but gamestop and along with every other online store and in store have been sold out or out of stock. However, you can get it on ebay for 3-4 times more expensive.

Anyway, it is so much fun. More fun than I anticipated!  Jenny and I both spent a few hours on it Wednesday and Thursday...I am sure it will occupy some of our wiikend. Last night I did 50 minutes on the FIT which included Yoga, strength, and aerobics exercises. Also, there are plenty of balance games.  This morning I actually woke up with my body very sore! I have already noticed a difference in my posture...which it is supposed to help you have better posture and overall balance.
Here is what the balance board looks like:

Here is what one of the yoga exercises looks like:

The strength exercises include push ups and like 25 other exercises:

Aerobics include hula hoop and running in place and aerobics steps...and many more:

It starts you off as a beginner and lets you unlock more advanced stages and even new exercises! The balance games are really fun....there is a game that you dodge soccer balls that your other mii characters kick at you! Oh and the Wii calculates your BMI and logs in your weight each time you use it...then graphs your progress and allows you to set goals.
It is great investment!
Anyway, just thought I would let everyone know about this!
